I bought the Kmart Rectangle Ultra Tough Dog Bed out of desperation during Monte’s teething phase. I needed two things: affordability and washability.

The “chew-resistant” claim? Let’s be real – Monte chewed all four corners. But he was a little teething machine at the time, and some quick stitching fixed it right up. Three years later, this budget find has proven to be an absolute survivor and a daily staple. The cover washes beautifully, it stays cool in the Sydney heat, and it is so comfortable that my two cats constantly try to steal it the second Monte gets up.
