I walked into TK Maxx with a very specific, adult mission: find a sturdy laundry basket.

I walked out with zero baskets and one very loud, very yellow squeaky chicken.

The “Monte Effect” is real. One look at the pet aisle and suddenly, sorting whites and darks felt significantly less important than securing this rubber hen…
