TK MAXX find: Paws & Claws TWISTY CHEW RING TOY

If you know Monte, you know he is absolutely obsessed with anything shaped like a ring.

For his 4th birthday back in March, I picked up the Paws & Claws Twisty Chew Ring Toy from TK Maxx. It instantly became a prized possession.

His absolute favourite thing to do with a ring is entirely self-directed. He loves to fling it up into the air himself, catch it a couple of times on the fly, and do a little victory lap before finally bringing it back to me.

Weathered by the Elements

When we first brought it home, it was a gorgeous, vibrant blue. Fast forward a few months, and it has unfortunately been left out in the yard through one too many heavy rainstorms. It has definitely seen better days and looks a bit weathered now, as you can see.

Still Just as Keen

But in true working-dog fashion, Monte couldn’t care less about the aesthetics. Whether we are playing a high-energy game of tug, or he is happily settling down in the grass to gnaw on the rubber grooves, he is still just as keen on it today as the exact moment he first set eyes on it.
