Beyond Black: Discovering a Neutral Pouch Worth Having.

I have relied on the Stylish Hound OG Pouch 3.0 for years, but as much as I love it, I have always gravitated toward neutral or earthy tones rather than black.

That is why The Wag Society’s Memory Walk Pouch stood out so much when I walked past their stall at Castle Hill’s Dogs in the Park back in May.

While I had my reservations about a light-coloured dog bag, Michelle assured me the nylon fabric is durable and machine washable. Before I could even overthink it, my husband stepped in and bought it on the spot.

Putting It to the Test

Three days later, I was off to Europe, which proved to be the ultimate testing ground. Because it doesn’t scream ‘dog bag,’ I could easily wear it without Monte in tow.
It travelled everywhere with me, on bike rides, mountain hikes, and through busy streets, handling a coffee spill with a simple wipe-down rather than a trip to the wash.

Final Verdict: Function Meets Everyday Style

Michelle has created a lovely range of neutral items. While the brand’s aesthetic leans toward smaller, petite dogs rather than high-drive herding breeds, this pouch still fits seamlessly into our daily routine.

I was also drawn to their clever dual-design water bottles, which are conveniently offered in bundles. However, I ultimately passed on the bottle because a 1-litre capacity becomes just a bit too cumbersome for my preferred walking setup, though I would gladly reconsider if a smaller size ever joined the range!
